Raila Odinga met president Uhuru Kenyatta in the absence of the three NASA co-principles. The meeting brought about mixed reactions from the party with NASA members questioning Raila’s move to reconcile.

Raila however, told members of the press it was time for the country to heal and move forward. Details emerging from ODM headquarters is that the party has pulled out of the NASA coalition citing betrayal from other co-principals.

It will be remembered, during Raila’s swearing in, all the other co-principals chickened out living Raila to carry the swearing-in cross alone. Days later, they came together to issue  a statement blaming the government of orchestrating plans to eliminate them.

Raila and his ODM party later sat down and planned on a payback strategy that would see the principals reamin irrelevant on the political scene.

Word from our correspondents states categorically that Raila’s meeting with Uhuru was his sole plan.  The other co-principles were not notified since ODM had already pulled out of the NASA coalition and were undertaking their party agendas without having to seek for opinion.
