It has been confirmed that Alex Chamwada was indeed part of the dirty Cambridge Analytica team that saw Kenya’s elections swindled by a foreign firm. The European firm confirmed that they were hired by the Kenyan government to run online campaigns for the Jubilee government.
The firm later formed some interactive campaigns that were meant to steal personal data from unsuspecting Kenyans online. Word reaching us is that the famous public likes campaign was among the many schemes that were used to steal data from Kenyans. This could not have been known until Facebook shut down their accounts.
Cambridge Analytica’s Alexandra Phillips confirmed that they worked and in hand with Chamwada at Jubilee offices in Pangani. The freelance journalist at KTN popularly known for his show Daring Abroad helped supply with important data from his field survey to help run the best campaigns.
John Allan Namu was also in the picture. The journalist, the expose’ said was hired by Chamwada to help collect as much data needed by the foreign firm as possible. Allan however denied being part of the scam.
